I'm only half way through the link @bobthebuilder .. it's a tome ..... seen some of it before, (as said, do follow him a bit) -- but everyone should have access to it (and all its links) and read it thoroughly ..

Facebook Market Place Scams. Why don't/won't FB respond to reported scams? I've been through a phase of reporting all the scams I see, then blocking them so they don't clutter up my feed. Most of the time I get FB feedback saying they haven't done anything as seller hasn't breached rules. Very frustrating. The amount of scams makes it almost tempting to ditch FB completely, but I have has some proper bargains over the years, and sold a lot of stuff, so it's got its uses. Now they want money for boosting posts you'd think they would want some hygiene in their listings....

I thought the Kubota U50 was a scam of a machine until I spent a week in a Kobelco equivalent.... What a hateful machine, not got a lot of good stuff to say about it. The Kubota has its short comings but it would run rings around this Kobelco I'm in at the moment...
Wasn't there someone on here a while back with major problems with a Kobelco of that size ?

So Barclays (definitely)and probably all pushed by FCa and government are from July only allowing maximum of 20k cash deposits per year. This by what I gather is across all accounts.

Seen loads of folk getting knickers in a twist over this… but seriously who gets paid cash and then puts it in the bank 😂
Pubs bars restaurants, but not the point. If they are worried about money laundering investigate not that difficult.
If you've ever had a financial audit by professionals it is quite an eye opener.
What fecking right do these people have to tell you what money to take.
They tried it in the covid bs and it didn't work so now they've a new tac

I read it as personal accounts? I’ve afew NatWest business accounts and haven’t been notified of any changes to cash deposits….
Just double checked and no cash limit on business accounts, so really it’s a non story!
just 24k personal over 12months, which is plenty! Just open a account with another bank if you want to deposit grandmas old cash stash 😂

Tbf I'm getting sick of this whole use "cash it's going to be taken away" saga. Only folk who use cash in any serious quantities now are drug dealers and pikeys....if it hampers them I'm all for it.

Problem is the people making the rules can't be trusted.
A quote I once heard along the lines of.
You can never take a people's freedom, they must give it to you.
I think it's very apt listening to the news everyday and exactly what the government are up to.
