Yeah, if it’s only to satisfy planning permission condition then it’s no bother. We install proper ones as a selling point.

Worse than planning its a building reg now apparently. If building a house for yourself but not got a leccy car id rather just pre wire for future. Happy days if outdoor socket suffices.

That’s what I did with my old place, fitted a big cable capable of being a charging point while the place was gutted then had a double socket on the end.
