no Dylan .. IIRC it crosses the Tarn river and spans a huge valley ...... it is an amazing engineering feat .. went over it in the dark on the way down to Montpelier on the Wing in 2009 and came back over it in the afternoon, a couple of weeks later, on the way home .. it's a bloody long way up ... had wanted to see it for years ...... 's a hell of a long way from Dijon though

The Nantua viaduct on the A40 heading towards Geneva is another mega piece of engineering - the road runs through a very long tunnel through a mountain and then pops out onto a ridiculously high bridge/viaduct!
It’s actually quite a shock as you’ve been ensconced in a tunnel for a good few minutes before emerging into the light on a road in the sky.
It’s further on than Dijon but worth a detour if you are heading that way for other reasons.
Millau is awesome, I’d love to go over it when the clouds are below.

Been over it a few times now, it's impressive if you have time to stop and or detour round to look at it from other angles, other wise to drive over its just another bridge to be honest, you're on and over it in a min or so and you can't really see a great deal as they have put what I assume are anti suicide barriers along the whole length.

On the subject of French bridges .. trying to recall where this is ..... it's the bridge they used in the film The Cassandra Crossing .... somewhere in the middle of France .. maybe on the north side of the Massif Central .. will have a look at my route back then

Just come back from my trip to Switzerland. It was good and boiling hot. So while all the race competitor's were sweltering in the dust and heat i was off on a borrowed E bike to swim in the local lakes and drink cold beer
On way back we stopped in Belgium to visit war graves, museums etc.

Slovenia is supposed to be real nice ... less population than Wales and about the same size ... has some spectacular scenery apparently
