I had to do a little job up at Dounraey a few years back and the guy said to me “ just park up next to the fence and I’ll take it over for you “ I thought to myself whats the fence going to protect me from 😂

I’ve done some work at Dounreay. Interesting place. Some horror stories from back in the day, but they seem to have got it under control now. Lovely scenery, but a bit of a trek to get there though.

4 1/2 hours for me to get there. I was at the encapsulation plant and they had a brand new 42T forklift  was a monster.

Just round the corner then. Last time took me about 16 hours each way.

😳 16 hours each way! Must be a g contract you have
It is one of those jobs that they know it won’t be cheap as they are in the middle of nowhere and they want all the certificates etc. The paperwork takes at least another day. I just price accordingly and if they want it fine, if not I’d rather sit at home than wearing my equipment out and losing money at the same time.

Awesome, bet it will be amazing. Always wanted a go in a ww2 plane. In 2019 I tried to sign up to do the 75th anniversary jump into Arnhem, jumping from a C47 would of been amazing. Gutted there was no more places left.
My mate got to do this(with work!) probably the only perk of being airborne 😬
