I’m wanting to go on a proper aircraft simulator. I can fly small planes (flown a tutor grob, powdered glider & glider) but I’ve always wondered if the aircraft crew died if I could land the thing, don’t see why not, may kill everyone else but I’d definitely give it a go…

helluva way to blow a couple of grand :giggle:

I've just looked...... Try three grand! for a minimum of 20min, don't get me wrong it must be an awesome experience, but i can think of a lot of things I'd rather spend £3k on for 20min of fun :ROFLMAO:
EDIT and thats the cheapest option, you can do a 75min coastal flight for only £7.5K ! and if you chuck another £4k in you can have me109 chase you around... .Bargin.

is that one where it arrives in a jar, you add water and watch it turn into a glider :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

one of me oldest friends, (we grew up together), died in a powered glider, a couple of years back :( .... timber man all his life ... and hit a bloody tree, when a gust of wind caught them
he arrived in style for his last journey ... and got 'off loaded' with a Cranab ..... RIP Mart

And then some..

Someone was telling me the Harvard flight alongside the spit is actually awesome and a lot cheaper and you get to see spit up close aloft which must be something.
If I had the dough I'd do it a heartbeat...ultimate would be a lanc though...aiming to do taxi run one day.
For me personally it's a way to remember those who gave everything ...

If you sit on the beach at West wittering you can watch the spitfire come over every half hour.

I'm off to the royal air tatto next month.

My in-laws live at the end of the runway so bought me the tickets for Christmas as I liked watching the red arrows land. I'm quite excited to be honest I like noisy things and apparently this is really noisy. Might even need war defenders

Auto correct isn’t the best!

Sad times, guess he died doing his second favourite thing at least?

We were fortunate to be in the village of Dunsfold when the airshow was on, the sound that the eurofighter made when it was making a quick turn to surprise the crowd with its' sudden reappearance was impressive 😃

Most of the tank crews in Russia are wearing war defenders at the moment🤭

We are just south of Biggin Hill the Spitfires are out every day over us several liveried versions too, It's now about 5k for an hour flight, two friends have been up last year and said it was the most fantastic and emotional thing they have done. This afternoon the Merlin engined P51 mustang went over which was nice.

I really fancy making a camper out of one of those exmod daf 4x4 trucks.
Something like this
Wouldn’t be able to drive that on my license 😢
