Do you belive the population of the Uk is 67,886,011 the gov have not got a clue thy done a censures but illegals never filled it in .I read a report from supermarkets that they thought po;ulation was nearer 80 million by amount of food sold.We were told that only 3 million EU nationals moved to the UK before 2016 referendom then after we voted to leave half went home saying they felt thy were not wanted here .I notice that over 4 million eu nationals applied for settled status None of these figures add up would anybody like to guess how many illegals are here

I agree Bob we have no idea really how many people are here under the radar, but those charts give us a rough idea on population, its all very well doing the capta per so many killometers or miles but still does not give us the full story as its an average across our small island, It does not take into account the South East corner and other parts of the UK that are vastly over populated and having green belt built on at a frightning rate, This is unsustainable our Green belt and the Nature that lives within it is something that we will never get back and something that I am very passionate about. There is no infastructure being put in place to cope with all of the extra people and their vehicles it is very serious situation that is begining to come to a head especially in Kent.

Its getting bad were I live with hundreds of new houses being built and hundreds more on new sites been approved .We are the furthest away from main hosptal for a town of our size in the country about 30 miles of country roads and we only got 2 fulltime doctors when we use to have at least 6 and its being sold as a retriement area Now when Sizewell C gets started its about 8 miles away with all the extra workers and familys and traffic that will bring it will be chaotic. There has been no money sent on the infarstruture in my area for years and you never hear any local accents now.

Unfortunately it's a fact of life
We can't really blame it on immigration when there are still alot of people wanting big family's,
The only real way to slow the need for housing is to slow the population growth

Had Serge, me genny mate here this afters for a cuppa - servicing a genny 2 miles away - tells me that there are in excess of 400 new houses going up in Ross - or to be more precise, on a site which falls outside of the existing town limits ... town about the same size as Abergavenny was 10 years ago with circa 11.5k pop. -- Aber now closer to 14.5k with all the hundreds of houses built - again outside the limits (which get moved regularly). a 25% increase in ten years is some jump and there's sod all there in the way of employment, much like Ross.

read some one's post (IIRC) recently about UK pop. being 67m, with supermarkets estimating it at closer to 80m based on sales ... WTF is it all gonna stop .... when them on the 'fringes' are falling into the sea ???????:mad::mad::mad::mad:

One day when I'm bored I'll try and dig out satellite photos etc and try and compare the area over the last few years. It's utterly crackers.
Must be a site you can "rewind Google satellite" 🤔

You can rewind Google earth satellite images back to around the 90s some areas have better dates than others. You just need to download Google pro on your "puter" as druid says. Very handy when looking into property. I've been caught a few times on Google streetview last time I struck a pose but that already been overwritten and was only 2 years ago. How do you rewind street view?
