I see Nigel ruffled a few feathers over there in La La EU land they tried to re write history today by stating it was the EU that saved Europe from the Nazis and Russians a total insult to all of our men and women along with our alies that fought and lost their lives to save our country from Hitlers invasion, We and our alies libirated France and got into Holland too, It was the UK that flew Lancasters over to Holland to drop food to the thousands of starving dutch people not then EU! We were one of the only European countries to stand up and defend ourselves much as we are now doing in getting out of this rotten corrupt unelected dictatorship that they call the EU! We survived without open borders before and we will do again whether anyone likes it or not we are the original trading nation, Things have changed an awful lot in the shiping Import and Export industry in the last 10 years Technology vehicle recognition etc etc. if this whole thing had stayed as just a common trading block it would have been fine, Nobody voted for a political Union or EU parliment and court to be formed and start making up rules and laws for everyone, Nobody voted for an EU flag, nobody voted for an EU national Anthem, Junker and co are already talking about a central tax system for all of the member states along with their Army too, again has anyone voted for this being run by the EU The only thing people are voting for is to get out of this before it's too late!

What really annoys me with our current so called polititians and some previous ones that still have their fingers in the EU pie like Hesstletine, Blair, Mandleson etc they all like to speak down to the people and make out they know best, We have a biased broadcasting company sorry i mean BBC which continues to spout out pro EU propaganda, They really need to learn that there are a huge amount of Brexiteers that are very well informed and can see what is happening we are all a bunch of populists according to Remainers and the EU anyone that is anti EU is now a populist well its a total load of Bo???cks it is people that have had enough of a corrupt establishment. We are only allowed to see a little of whats happening in Italy at the moment, Has anyone seen much about Frau Merkels diasterous local elections in Bavaria that took place a couple of weeks ago- answer no the good old BBC havent given it much coverage why well she and her party suffered it's worse results for over 50 years again it's all down to populists - total rubbish of course, Since Blair was in power and the borders were all flung open and everyones wages stagnated all what the EU wanted along with it's supporters like Soros etc for their own gain, The EU has even given grants to some large companies to relocate to places like Poland Slovakia etc companies like Ford, Land Rover, Whirlpool the whole thing stinks. i actually took a bit of time to look at the Brexit results and came to the conclusion that most remain areas in the south east were commuter towns where everyone goes to London and as usual have no perception about the rest of the UK, Actually only one major area in Kent voted to Remain and that was Tunbridge Wells obviously the rest of Kent voted to leave, London which covers a dense poulation in a relatively small area obviously voted to remain, but you need to look at the map of the UK to get a real idea of the areas that voted to leave. i also looked using BBC data ( i am ashamed to say) Out of the 27 EU countries we give the EU the second largest budget payment Germany being the first, France was fourth or fifth in the table but after the ninth budget payers the rest (ie) 18 other countries are all net takers from the EU, They give no money, Malta, Belgium, Denmark, southern Ireland, Luxembourg to name a few, but they still get to vote on us leaving their club, Well call me old fashioned but if you don't pay in then you should get no say! and as the EU says we have to pay to leave, They are terrified of us leaving how are they going to plug a large whole in their corrupt budget, This is why Southern Ireland is so anti UK at the moment they have already been told by the EU that they have to stop their low tax enticement which got Apple and some other large companies to open offices over there, They will then loose their competitive edge and also be expected to start paying into the EU after being a taker since day 1. Interesting times ahead for the EU.

I know squat about politics and dont want to get into an argument for that reason .... but a reform might of been a decent (better) idea ?

Not possible. Germany won't give up the idea of an EU superstate, and all the third world countries we let join won't give up the handouts. Exit was the only option.

You wouldn't stay in a relationship with an alcoholic stripper hoping she'd 'reform' would you?

, They give no money, Malta, Belgium, Denmark, southern Ireland, Luxembourg to name a few, but they still get to vote on us leaving their club,
This is why I posted the payment chart above, Eire pays 1.7b and gets 1.6. Then we are burdened with the bank debt of 100b to bail out the banks of Europe including the English banks but mainly the french and German banks.

I think if people thought we could go back to just having an economic trade area of rich countries the vote may have been different. But with "ever closer union" interfering in every aspect of our lives and encouraging poor countries to join who not only take large subsidies, but flood us with cheap labour keeping our wages down a lot of people thought there was no hope of serious reform. Also I personally don't want our country run by foreigners who don't have our interests at heart and who we cannot unelect. We have enough useless politicians of our own, but at least we can vote them out.

In all the years the common market/ EU has existed ...... it has never been able to find an accountant/accountancy firm to 'sign off', on its books, as a true, accurate and honest account of their financial affairs ..... and I mean NEVER ...... because they have never balanced or been reconciled as accurate .... FACT!!

Don’t think another referendum will accomplish anything, most people I’ve spoke to are waiting to get on with it. The only people making a noise are those who want to drag the process out even more, if there was another referendum I feel it would bring the same result. I for one think a no deal will be bad for the country as a whole but I don’t see us getting a good deal when it comes to negotiating with the euro elites.

So it seems we're in for prolonged uncertainty on the brexit front. :(

Unfortunately the remainers in parliament will f**k up any chance of getting out.
Too many selfish, self serving bunts.

How thick do people need to be, to not realise if they take a, no deal Brexit off the cards that it gives the EU more power to shaft us even more.

At the end of the day we have remainers in charge who have dragged their feet through the whole thing in the hope of not having to go through with it, it's time they faced facts put their big boy pants on and told the EU to f**k off we don't want a deal

If either an extension to the date or another referendum happens it's just put an end to democracy and we may as well just throw the reins over to the EU instead of having their puppets here doing their bidding.

If a Indefinite Extension or it not happening becomes a reality there will be riots :(

If another referendum occurs there will be riots no matter what the outcome.
if we were French there'd have been rioting on the streets for months Rory  .... unfortunately that is unlikely to occur .. no balls :(
