8026 offset either side is piss poorI tried the sv26 . I did really like it. I was put off by the offset on the boom not going as far left as I'd of liked and I managed to get a full fat kx027-4 for less money
The Yanmar has its boom ram for offset mounted on the opposite side so it offsets further to the right. In reality it probably has the same amount of offset just the other way around and that felt a bit strange . May of been fine once used to it though8026 offset either side is piss poor
Biggest let down on the 8026 is the offset, it won't dig inline with the tracksThe Yanmar has its boom ram for offset mounted on the opposite side so it offsets further to the right. ‘I bought 3 sanys, I have gone mental’?Your going to need to change the thread title
3 and counting !‘I bought 3 sanys, I have gone mental’?
Most hirers don't know their arse from their elbow.I was in town yesterday picking up some parts at our local hire co and noticed a few sunward minis have made their fleet . I think I also saw a liugong
They’re a local outfit Campbell plant hire . but supply the whole of the highlands . Hundreds of hitachis Volvos Doosans takuchis etc I think they are dipping toes in the waterMost hirers don't know their arse from their elbow.
I meant the people who hire them ...ie doesn't matter what it is they hire, but was à bit tongue in cheek obviouslyThey’re a local outfit Campbell plant hire . but supply the whole of the highlands . Hundreds of hitachis Volvos Doosans takuchis etc I think they are dipping toes in the water
i know what you're saying , my point was the hire company are a big outfit . They must of weighed this up . They will have some customers that will insist on proven brands and as you say plenty that won't. Also if you phone to hire a volvo and a sunward is your only choice you're likely going to take it anyway rather than say feck that I will shovel it instead. I bet the hire rates will be exactly the same as a Volvo . They Must be relatively confident they can move them on in 2-3 years given that they will have had a big lump of the resale value up front in the purchase price. The gamble is likely in the reliability and back up over the time they own them.I meant the people who hire them ...ie doesn't matter what it is they hire, but was à bit tongue in cheek obviously![]()
Very true what you say. But as someone once said to me…..you don’t get the sack for buying a Kubota!!!i know what you're saying , my point was the hire company are a big outfit . Given that Lee the op of the thread is taking the gamble when the machines he is buying will represent a much higher percentage of his hire fleet than Campbell plant I expect we will start to see this roll out much more across hire companies in the uk .
Plenty of civil company drivers on hired in plant will find themselves seating on non main stream brands over the next year as hire fleets start to see what is happening with the price of new replacements now that the Euro Auctions fleet disposal returns are starting to soften.
