you'd be very lucky to retain a perfect 'column' in the pipe as it's withdrawn though Dylan -- I'd be more inclined to suck off the bottom and see what you get

Suppose the little brake pumper thing will do that before I get the big guns out

No water in tank, just a bit of slugde.

Well it's running, didn't even have to prime it. It sucked it up and just undid the bleed screw a few seconds.
Think the main issue was shite in the line. @Stroppymonkey was correct all along, thanks.
Just need to order censor and then get someone to check it over with gauges

Sods law phone call this morning on 1 of my rentals boiler not working. Get there at 2.30 boiler won't take any water but says empty on the readout. Spoke to a mate as my usual plumber didn't answer. Mate phoned back about 18.00 , I'll meet you there. Leave the house steering felt wrong pulled over a screw in the tyre my boy brought Compressor up managed to get air in to get back to the house. Swapped vehicles got down there mate had it opened up cleaned a sensor full of crud re pressurised the expansion vessel and way to go .
Tenants were over the moon as knew Christmas was looming and mate never charged me. Hopefully get the tyre done in the morning

I’ve had 2 boiler repair jobs this morning and managed to get both sorted for xmas. Everywhere shut for spares apart from one supplier

Our suppliers open today on short hours and Vailant and Grant technical lines and warranty lines were open till lunch. Lads all off home and I’m ignoring my work phone till Thursday night/Friday morning
