Only 300mm more reach than the mono boom although uk spec takis all come with longest arm spec standard. It's more for the working range. Its actually a shorter dipper than the mono version.

no question MB .... just goes against the 'perceived wisdom' with a stick that length and another 400+mil of tilty build height
... improves reach though .. and you're not the only one who's looks lovely

That's the plan. Hitch and all attachments are s45 (changed over 2 yr ago when i bought the 290 ive traded for this)

Yeah all good so far. Ironically that was also the first job my traded in 290 went to first and took nearly an hour to track there. Only took 20 mins this time. Its quite a restricted site in among trees so 2 piece boom coming in v useful, its deffo something I'll always spec on an 8 tonner. I wouldn't spec it on a hire fleet machine but a definite no brainer for owner op. Its surprising how much more useable reach it gives as well comfortably loading dumper about a metre further away than mono boom wouldWouldnt go as far as that

Was up on Sat came back down Ambleside utter chaos as roadworks on lake road. Bailed and did the back lanes but was absolutely mental round there.
But yes weird during week.
