So if we’re of the opinion that Mogs ok like this, what’s the difference between this and the Marshal low loader carrying the slurry tanker with the over hang??

Marshall low loader just had a high-vis jacket tied to the end iirc

Marshall low loaders projection was a badly marked drawbar. Reality is provided it was within 3.05m and had lights on it that Marshall load could be deemed as acceptable....

Mog does at least have the bulk of the load ...... even if it is only 55% on the bed .... it would at least sit there without the strap - just ....... that tanker had the bulk of its weight well out past the arse of the trailer and a loooooooong way past the rear most axle ... tail swing'd 've been horrendous

Not quite V8 I had to strap it down while it was still on the telehandler was a bit back end heavy as the doors are at the back
But just before anyone bubbles me to VOSA I only took it down my track from the scrap yard to my yard

Well I sold the ol girl last week and guy collected yesterday he came in a van that I lifted on the back with the Telehandler, slipped a few sheets of trailer flooring ply on the body to support the rear wheels still looked a bit dodgy but he only had to travel 80 miles

I cant say anything I always try to get a car lifted on a trailer etc when I go to buy things make it easier, normally drive a scrap car with a bit of test left to wherever im going then it doesn't matter if it gets damaged. had some funny looks over the years tho.
makes the job cheaper aswell no trains etc don't have to pay a driver to run you anywhere can go when you want to, whats not to like
