Impressive isn't it πŸ€”πŸ‘
As it happens I've just bought a 23r!
Canopy of course, for the domestic misery πŸ˜† 🀣 3000ish hours, 11k plus VAT. Tight as a drum, tracks beautifully, serviced, new rollers. Not the best cosmetically- sun faded red and its had a whack on the side panel (like its been hit, not scrapedπŸ€”), but I can sort that, not a big deal
I had no plans at all to buy a 2.5 but this came up local, some jobs were more profitable than I expected and I've won a chunk of woodland work just down the road πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ
My mate down the yard had 1 just the same a couple of years ago but had to sell it as him and his buisness partner went their separate ways. It was his favourite, and mine, but his kubota 2.7 was easier to hire out so the Tak had to go unfortunately.
Hopefully collect it this week 🀞
Looks honest machineπŸ‘πŸ˜ your becoming a right Tak fan boy now!

Rare to see a canopy machine that size.

Perhaps it had already sold (not surprised at that price) so he didn't bother replying OR he's put it up for sale, been flooded with interest and realised he's got it on to cheap so said it was sold- it may reemerge at a somewhat higher price in due course!
Wouldn't be surprised by the latter.

Has anyone @craig and @Simon edwards (with your mini Wacker made Cat) found the cabs of the ET18/20/24 to be horrendously noisy. I've been in my dad's cat (ET24) the last few days and can't believe how noisy it is. No chance of listening to the radio and finding myself wearing ear defenders. The throb of the pump pulsates right though the cab and on top of that the window mechanism is dreadfully clattery. First time I've spent a lot of time in it and finding the whole thing pretty draining- wondering if my ET20 which Is due soon is going to be the same😩

I wouldn't say massively noisy, having the door open resonates engine noise, but not to the point where your cant hear the radio.

Hmm yours doesn't sound too bad then. In my Takeuchis I can comfortably have a conversation on the Bluetooth as I'm working. The Wacker it's ear defenders and wouldn't even attempt to listen to the radio. Then when the window is down in its first click so the gaps at the top the whole window frame rattled around with every movement- it's not a nice tight click into place at all.

The 65 is prob quietest I've had - window rattles a bit when tracking but not when working, great design though all up and over if desired, are little ones the same system ?
Sounds like it. Can click it down so there's a 4" gap at the top or pull the bottom pane up into the top one and all over your head in one. It's quite neat system but this one the bottom pane rattles alot too and because the little plastic strip between the two panes is missing. i find the fit and finish of the small Wacker cab a bit cheap and dated tbh

I find it ok,the glass rattles a bit I suppose but I can hear the radio ok,have it quite loud though because my hearings crap!I haven’t ever noticed the pump noise, that does’nt sound right in what is usually regarded a very well built machine. There is a wacker facebook page ,might be worth a look.
I am actually considering upgrading the Cat next year, fancy a wackerNeuson again, please let me know how you get on with yours.

yesh I asked on Wacker facebook page one bloke says his ET24 rattles terribly. I've tried my dad's cat around the farm a few times and never really picked up on the noise untill now when I've borrowed it for a job.
I now think the best/only way to try out a machine for purchase is to hire one for a week. Almost useless just spinning around in a flat dealers yard.

I know hard to tell on video but I think this one demonstrates the pump noise well. Seem awfully loud to me and reverb in the cab makes it even worse when in it. Watch a good bit of the video and you realise how dominant the pump noise is.

The 3t kub I have sounds like that - I bought it off a mate who bought it new, first day it arrived he called dealer back about noise, they came out and said all ok, 4500hrs later still sounds the sale.

Are all 71-3's the same ? If not how might variance between machines of same model be explained ?

Yeah I wondered if there could be any variables between machines . Funny how even a slight misplacement of a part can cause a racket. I dunno. Maybe it's just at the frequency that really grates on my ears but all I know is my Takeuchis purr along like little kittens compared to this Wacker.

I did hire a Hitachi u26 once which had similar feel of being in a washing machine.
