65ish year old 35 and a 20 year topper out earning a couple of weeks ago. Probably not much more than an Avant mower, and a 35 is a relatively expensive classic tractor. An International/DB would probably be half the money.
But yes. Its s slippery slope 😆

Still looking for a nice height adjustable 5ft offset topper for mine. And yes it’s a slippery slope. You end up buying classic trailers as well 🤣

My head is saying pick the one with a cab..heaters for the autumn and ac for summer 😂
As much as i said a loader will be slow for flailing, it will do it. I seen a contractor cut round abouts and laybys etc locally with a big avant, it was doing a good job to be fair.

For what you talking about, id be looking at a 760 avant or something along those lines.

Yeah it would have to be that or bigger, I know id be disappointed with anything less!

These seem to do a good range of attachments, not sure who the importer is?

Richard Taylor Machinery.

My favourite flail collectors are Muratori- light enough for my little tractors but strong enough for the abuse I give them (albeit with strengthening and fairly regular welding!) It's a niche, but for my work linkage mounted is essential and that means lightweight. I'd definitely try some of their other kit if it came up at the right money. Not sure I'd want to pay the new prices.

Looking at your link I'd say the Multione (who are also Italian) attachment range is basically rebranded Muratori, so that would be a good place to start looking secondhand.

Will have a look see what they can offer , the Avant price list for attachments is ridiculous!

Sadly, the 4cx in its current guise hasn't got enough flow to run a decent sized flail on the front end.

Sounds like a classic tractor of some kind and a 6ft topper job to me. Wont depreciate, and you might find some fun out of owning a classic?
So after taking Ollie’s advice to save some ££ and buy a classic , I started the search … and really shouldn’t of bothered as I’ve ended up here 😂
