Something for everyone In here!!
Someone had all the toys normally avoid bpi auctions but only! 10% buyers premium

@Monkeybusiness might be of interest

this is unusual ...... no fixed reserve -BUT!!

" All Winning Bids are Subject to Vendor Approval "

Have seen a few of those machine tools elsewhere, I'm sure - deffo the Colchester 2000 lathe, radial drill, wood lathe, Geka and lots 43 to 48 ... so interesting that they state this " All lots in this auction are owned from new " -- the radial drill is mid/late '60s - the Fobco7-8 early '70s :unsure::unsure:

I think the challenge with this is that at first glance from the nearside everyone compares it to a lorry mount FLTand then it looks dear. Once you look a bit harder it's actually a mini tele handler which shares a drive system with moffett. (Hyd 3 wd with difflock) Twice the power and flow rate and AUX a self levelling mono boom make it very appealing. As others said, not much else out there at that price. I think it's probably a couple K over where it should be though.
I have made an offer in this that’s been accepted. Am going up again on Wednesday with a friend to take a proper good look at it to make sure nothing obvious. Charles is fairly handy after a lifetime of ag engineering so hopefully he can give it the all clear. I’ve done homework with local spares agent and all seevice spares available.
Seller is confident that apart from the missing engine cover and a couple of oil drips in the engine bay (and the rear wash wipe) its all up and working.
Anyone care to help with suggestions as what to check/look out for?
4000 hours / 23 year old / hydrostatic 3 wheel drive small tele..
Lister petter engine.
Thanks in advance.

Update. Went up yesterday and went RIGHT through it with a cleverer person than me. Sent report and photos to seller and told him I am out. Shame as it would be a rather handy little tool, but needs too much work/money to bring it up to a point where I can keep a ticket on it. The fact that the rougher £6000+vat one up north is still not sold speaks volumes.

looks to have had a reasonable life -- chains're looking ropey and sprockets on the way - very tidy though really
That’s what I thought , probably still on its first set of running gear . Point for negotiation maybe.

here's why probably
The 523 was in the yard Wednesday. Nice looking little machine. Think it’s the one in photo below as there can’t be 2 with that exact bespoke load guard!
Doesn’t seem bad money compared to the 10k he wants for the 415.

On a different note. I know NOTHING about BJ trailers. How would this compare to a IW LM166? Same specs on paper .

@V8Druid what do you reckon this weighs? It would fit on my IW crane trailer but I only have a 1500kg capacity
