That's definitely the same machine, that was the `repair` we said about in the other thread.
yeh ... that's why I marked it up, as you'd mentioned it previously (y) what was your general consensus on its overall condition, aside from the obvious ...:( .... think Chris @Pond digger might like to hear your opinion too ;)

I thought it had been generally unloved in its previous life, but saying that it seemed to be all there and working, never got as far as giving it a full going over ,(called in on the bloke who was selling to have a good look and it had gone that morning ). But from the brief try I had pervious, slew was ok from memory, play in the dipper end, the hitch was a borfors? type and worn and the one bucket with it was pretty much worn out on the attach points, and the teeth adapters worn back to the toe plate:eek:, imo it would of not been worth doing anything with the hitch/bucket (unless you've a load of buckets that it would pick up), bin them and get a new hitch to pick up your buckets, and pin/bush the dipper.
Perkins 1000 series engine, 3 speed transmission I think:unsure:, and a lot of the hydraulic components looked off the shelf.
Tyres all about 50%, couple of nicks in them and a couple of punctures.
Cab needed a good clean out, seat worn a bit, door glass cracked, it had all ready been changed once, but it had blown open and new glass cracked again.
I would of wanted to road register it, and the altered plate concerned me a bit.
I couldn't find much info on a UK dealer if specific parts where needed, but they where badge engineered as a Kramer in Germany, may have been possible for parts via that route:unsure:.
I was thinking of trying a duck, since selling my old 3cx a couple of years ago for local jobs, by the time I`ve loaded my beavertail I could be half way there roading, more so using the direct route back lanes, instead if going around with the truck.
The price was cheap enough, if I`d not found anything too scary to give it a try to see if the idea worked.

Actually I have met the guy who’s selling this. The relationship with the QF tractor family is through marriage; he seemed a decent enough sort to me. Obviously with anything cheap, there’s going to be issues of some kind, you’ve just got to give everything a very careful examination. QF ( now Agri Sales Ltd ) have had some bad press, but they do get some interesting stuff in: again, things just need a thorough going over.

I could swear I have seen things at Euro ‘sold to the internet’ and then reappear at the next auction.
