That's definitely the same machine, that was the `repair` we said about in the other thread.
yeh ... that's why I marked it up, as you'd mentioned it previouslyThat's definitely the same machine, that was the `repair` we said about in the other thread.
yeh ... that's why I marked it up, as you'd mentioned it previouslywhat was your general consensus on its overall condition, aside from the obvious ...

I thought it had been generally unloved in its previous life, but saying that it seemed to be all there and working, never got as far as giving it a full going over ,(called in on the bloke who was selling to have a good look and it had gone that morning ). But from the brief try I had pervious, slew was ok from memory, play in the dipper end, the hitch was a borfors? type and worn and the one bucket with it was pretty much worn out on the attach points, and the teeth adapters worn back to the toe plate, imo it would of not been worth doing anything with the hitch/bucket (unless you've a load of buckets that it would pick up), bin them and get a new hitch to pick up your buckets, and pin/bush the dipper.
Perkins 1000 series engine, 3 speed transmission I think, and a lot of the hydraulic components looked off the shelf.
Tyres all about 50%, couple of nicks in them and a couple of punctures.
Cab needed a good clean out, seat worn a bit, door glass cracked, it had all ready been changed once, but it had blown open and new glass cracked again.
I would of wanted to road register it, and the altered plate concerned me a bit.
I couldn't find much info on a UK dealer if specific parts where needed, but they where badge engineered as a Kramer in Germany, may have been possible for parts via that route.
I was thinking of trying a duck, since selling my old 3cx a couple of years ago for local jobs, by the time I`ve loaded my beavertail I could be half way there roading, more so using the direct route back lanes, instead if going around with the truck.
The price was cheap enough, if I`d not found anything too scary to give it a try to see if the idea worked.
but did anyone buy it ????Knocked down for £7.5 k at Euro Auctions today.
I think Euro auctions are no reserve so if the hammer falls someone usually takes it homebut did anyone buy it ????![]()
