can you not lay some 50mm planks in the bed to park it on ?You’re welcome to borrow my JPM any time to try it for size.
It is very close with the TB260 - if the upper structure was 50mm or so higher it would go around no problem.
Is the 57 a zero? If so it should be fine (I don’t think it is though)...
Could do, but not really a problem as long as you don’t need to slew in the bed.can you not lay some 50mm planks in the bed to park it on ?
Where you based mate? I hate putting my kx161-3on 450mm steels on the herbst s**t ramps .Yeah that sounds good, I had steel ramps on my old Herbst trailer but they were only 350mm wide and 8ft which made for some pretty hairy excursions out of the trailer on an icy morning.
My mates got the new broughton dump loader coming soon, I’ll measure it if you wantthis has been top of my list for requirements, I want to spin the machine around inside the trailer, hopefully I can with the 57being nice and compact. but trying to get a spec sheet with dimensions on from dealers is like asking for a block of gold upfront! I think Irish don’t do email.. broughan gave me them all over the phone which just got confusing, oh and in ft only so I assume they only work in feet to the nearest full number![]()
Devon. Yeah the Herbst ramps are lethal imo, it’s even worse with a 3 tonner as the idler wheel actually drops Slightly between the ladder rungs.. I had a bit of a technique to do it but coming off the trailer I’d always use the bucket to lower myself off the trailer on to the ramps- thing the digger would tip if the bucket wasn’t making contact with the ground! You have the bigger Herbst which is a bit higher still but slightly longer ramps.Where you based mate? I hate putting my kx161-3on 450mm steels on the herbst s**t ramps .
I bought this for moving 3/5 ton around local areaDevon. Yeah the Herbst ramps are lethal imo, it’s even worse with a 3 tonner as the idler wheel actually drops Slightly between the ladder rungs.. I’m sure that will be a pleasure to use after the Herbst! Thing is the multi purpose dump trailers are bloody handy! The 11 ton JPM I’m thinking of getting has 3.5meter ramps as opposed to 2.4m like the Herbst so I’m hoping that should be a good enough compromise for me over having two trailers.I bought this for moving 3/5 ton around local area
It’s hydraulic off tractor or 24v electric pump if on wagon, it’s a chieftain. It’s not landed yet so will tell you when it’s here lolMust be quite a lift getting that full width ramp up Giles? Is it spring assisted?
you bought it thenI bought this for moving 3/5 ton around local area
Yesyou bought it then
Doh- Life’s easy when you know how.Bloody amateurs, you're meant to put the ramps under the trailer to make loading and unloading easier View attachment 19861
