Hi all, have lost 1.2.4 gears in forward and reverse and I have 3 but only revs to 1400rpm

They did just all of a sudden

Going to sound daft but check all of your exterior light bulbs…replace any blown ones. I’m guessing it’s a pre 2015 ish machine?

I have read similar before some where .... weirdest of issues on those m/cs, for the weirdest of causes ... gotta love CANBUS's idiosyncrasies

I had a new 2009 3CX contractor , it was a sod for blowing rear side light bulbs, sent it into what felt like limp mode, think it created an earth shortage or something similar.
Carried a full bulb set after the first time!

Think it was pre canbus system, relays and fuses.

did the dash have idiot lights to tell you of a bulb failure ?

Nope.. never been in a jcb that does!
My JD has all that, tells you everything in the computer - instant diagnostics.

On occasion the 432 would blow a random 10amp fuse, can't remember what it was for, but it'd shut transmission down.

Powerslide fuse would blow on mine which took out half the machine, but it didn’t show up on any electrical plans - factory at somepoint in time had piggy backed aload of random bits into that circuit. Standard making it up as they go along

Caught me out the first time. But I'd made sure it didn't after I knew about it. Apparently a common thing on them.
