My old man got an attachment from kranzle that goes on the end of the lance, has a bottle on the end you put the chemical in. I thought it was going to be a gimmick but I was truly surprised how thick it made it foam. It was just AIC motorway plus we put in it which we've had for a while but normally apply with spray bottle but in this thing it foams up to a lovely thick lather 🧼

i used to race against Mcguiness back in the 90's and bashed fairings on several occasions :) still like to have a crazy 1/2 hr but pick my places - its been a grim start this year like you say, makes you wonder how long it will last.
I know...lot of shock about sidecar situation. Let's see.i predict some modification to regs maybe
Can hear them now heading up the M6 ..trying to get the last boat 😂 nut jobs you bikers

I'm thinking I better get there soon as it won't be here much longer, like the Dorset steam fair. I'm going to see if I can get there next year.

They’ve introduced restrictors into the inlet manifolds on the sidecars this year to slow them down (lap times have been getting faster year-on-year, and this rule theoretically slows them down to what they were achieving 10 plus years ago).
In response the teams have focused on reducing drag to maintain previous speeds, but that has had the unfortunate consequence of potentially giving massive lift over jumps.
The Crowe brothers had a really nasty crash and the footage clearly shows the issue. It’s a crappy situation but it should be resolvable for next year with a tweak of the regulations hopefully.

Get across mate - there is nothing I have ever witnessed that comes close to the speed, danger and fear just from spectating! Any other motorsport looks ridiculously tame in comparison.
It is indescribably mental, and would be exciting for anyone to watch (even if they didn’t like motorbikes!).

The real fun starts tomorrow.

This. Even in the off season just go and drive the course it's mental. A lovely place as well.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
said the other day, I didn't renew my bike insurance this year -
have had cover continuously since I was 17 -
just got on to their quotation website out of interest -
renewal premium was over 500 quid -:mad:
just had a quote as 'fresh business' / new customer for .....
£214.78 ...
same bike, same rider, same history, clean license, never made a claim or had an accident. Footman James taking the absolute piss - been with them, since NU refused to renew my rider policy (after blagging 3 years of extensions on it after they withdrew it from general circulation) 15+ years ago

can insure me Kawi Z1000st for 137 quid or my FJ1200 Yammy for 128 quid?:cool:
Interestingly my XT600 Tenere is also 128 quid :unsure:o_O seems a bit steep in comparison to the 155mph FJ 12?

now what am I gonna sort for an MOT :unsure:

just emailing them for a combined quote for them all :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

A bit of motorcycle maintenance for me this evening. Im trying to get my kdx200 to a usable state so i can take it to a practice event. The clutch is horrible so i have filed the notches on the fingers down. I dont know why but working on bikes is such a joy.
Its a bit of a minger but i want to make sure i like it before spending too much on it.
