I saw this one down at my local dealers one day I was in. I thought it was really smart looking wee machine. The zero swing is nice on them. My we 19c isn’t zero swing and it does take a fair bit of room to let it work

Yeah I saw that, couldn't really think of a time when I'd use it though? Wonder how much it is.

I think it's probably like a titty and you probably wouldn't see how useful it is until you used it.
After all I don't think anyone ever has driven a machine with reach. Same as I doubt anyone has driven a machine with enough lift.
Would definitely help loading larger dumpers without dropping stuff.

Been slowly doing my research and generally dithering on this.

Went to have a look at Bobcat E20z last year and viewed Kobelco and Case equivalents last week.

The Bobcat and Case (CX19D) are pretty similar in price. Case was a real nice machine, think the Bobcat was much the same but been months since I saw it so can't remember exactly.

I know we have some Bobcat and Case fans on here but what about the Kobelco, anyone run them? It seemed a much more basic machine but a fair bit cheaper even when specced up.

Few pics for reference.

What prices were you quoted?

Bobcat are bringing out updated 2t models at some point- saw the press release for Bauma.
Honestly hard to keep up with the various prices I've had but along these lines

Kobelco SK17SR-3E - bare stick - £24.5k

Case CX19D - Hyd hitch and 3 buckets - £28.5k

Bobcat E20z - bare stick with hyd hitch pipework - £27k (priced last year)

All with twin auxiliary on rollers.

All three are royally taking the piss. You can get a Cat 302 for around 23k.

Yes I got that feeling when the Bobcat rep insisted they were the only brand doing a zero swing cab machine in this size, basically 'like it or lump it you won't get one elsewhere'.

I looked at the Cats but the 2t is wider unfortunately and don't think they do a smaller zero tail with cab?
