Nothing is perfect... never really hear a bad word about the 90 or 65
I wouldn't change it apart from a new one ...although I have no adblue regen shite on mine

I’ve had one minor with a 65, a short in the cabling to the armrest switch frayed, caused a short and melted half of the switch. I had hydraulics but no travel.

bit bigger one with a 90, idler bearing failed and it’s taken 6 weeks to get a new one through WN dealer. Yes, I know I could have got an aftermarket but there are reasons why I didn’t.

TBH this is the first time I’ve had a problem.

I run 1, 1.6,3, 5.5, 8, 16 ton machines and the 3 and 5 do the most work. 3 tons are just brilliant what you can do with them and where you can get them. But if you’re mainly on open sites or farms then it’s the 5 ton for extra power and speed to the job.

Well you already know my thoughts, for me a 5-6ton is a weird size, too big for small jobs and not man enough to replace an 8t. A good 2.7-3 ton is hard to beat as an allrounder imo. Get one and hire bigger as and when needed.
Personally think a 2.7 would fit your landscaping business the best

Exactly, it’s all horses for courses. I’ve done enough with different sizes to know what suits us. No 6 ton will touch my 80 for power and reach and no 6 ton will go where I take the 26. No point having something because someone on a forum says so

Been sat on top terrace with my 6t today passing stones and gear down to the bottom terrace....no 8t would fit on it and no 3t would reach the bottom !

I've decided, if I sell all bar one machine I can buy lots of crack and convince myself the remaining machine is the only digger that will not only do my jobs, but everyone else's too. ...emojis make my rational true too. Hehehe.

Simple answer is...you can only answer the question yourself....or you can only try it yourself. Yes you might make a wrong move but if you realise quickly you can re jig and move on or you may realise you've missed a sweet spot for years.

Haven't had price on 3t for a while but noticed the hi spec 2 - 2.4t sizes are pretty expensive. 26-29k sort of money

Better than the 36 I was quoted a year ago, JCB window still leaking after multiple visits, at times just think about swapping but to go new again looks like would have to find at least 10k

I'm the same when it comes to my TB216. Keep looking at alternatives but ultimately its still very tidy and low houred. It does the job and given the high prices of something better to replace it with it will still cost me at least £12k to upgrade so the plan stagnates before it ever gets anywhere!
