But on a 1.9t with the grab you can bring in to touch the side of the tracks more or less anyway so can't see the tab really assisting any further with lift. Id be happy to be proved wrong but just looks like a gimmick to me on that size

No for sure they're good machines. Big slew rings, plenty of reach and lift. Downside is I think the kingpin looks a bit small to me and more so there is no opening side windows- (unless you have the Cat variant like my dad's) you can open the front window and a door which is great in summer but what do you do when you just want a little airflow- the only provision is a 4" catch which props the 2nd door open- it's all a bit 3rd world tbh but something's got to give! Wacker will make me one with a window but last time we looked into it the wait for a customer build was quite long. Must admit I do like the wackers in Black that they offer too- looks tidy IMOWont go wrong with little wacker like your old Mans will you ....even have a donar machine if yours breaks down
You can take the whole front windows up and over in one, with the left door opened and a bungy cord from that to the right hand door to keep that open its nearly a canopy.
Yeah Its a good system with the front window- it's not so much summer that bothers me but more in winter when you have the heating on and it gets all misted up in side you just want a small airflow to draw the moisture out etc. I wondered about something like you suggest to hold open the right hand door but wondered if it pinned back would prevent adequate airflow than to the radiator

Looks goodAlternatively for only 3 or 4 grand I could upgrade the TB216 to this? At least gaining track pedals, prop rollers and it's done 1000hrs less etc. If I was ordering it new I'd go for twin aux and a hyd hitch but neither I'm that bothered by as I probably only change buckets once a day at the most.

To be fair. Looking around. A duck at £50k will be 6 years old, done 6000 odd hoururs and won't have a tilty. So on that basis you could buy that yamar and perhaps only loose £25k (?) over 5000hrs. Even if you sold it for £50k after 5k hours that's about £57 per working day. Doesn't seem so bad after all
