Yeah, luckily I rarely need both of them lol. I should just order some barstock cut to size and tap it up.

so ... carrying on from yesterday's efforts ... got back to me bench mid morning, after dealing with Pam's 'can you justs' ....
second one end plated and joining #1 on the floor, awaiting some shiny tish ....

too bloody heavy for humping about solo, so Lil' Jake helped
plated this one up and added several fixing holes and some extras for lift eyes , then chucked its butty up to pair up the setting out
and chucked t'other on't deck out the way to add the plates
second long 'un done and away
shiny tish time after a tidy up
second coat tomorrow
and probably a third ... dries quick and once installed, won't see paint again in a while
Even Pam's had the 'tish' bug today ...... pressure washed this off and gave it a spray can-full of Plastisol
Josh's beams got relocated yesterday, out of my way, for the saw's access .....
and I finished the day off with the fabricator's friend and a fresh coat for this ...
at 'the boss's request ....
can't use the FF for sh1t and actually admits it ...
reckon a roller's way easier than a brush to get a decent finish with ...
but I have had a LOT of practise over the years
I'm not allowed to paint the rusty bits ..... Pam likes the 'patina'
starting to look a bit like my old yard, with all these fabricated beams sat about the place

was bloody cool here this morning .... overcast 'til about one o'clock then brightened up
followed the roller with a ride around on the countax
followed by a chill in the now much more pleasant sun for half an hour, watching a cock pheasant chasing three hen birds around ... trying to get his leg over
went off cold soon as the yeller fing dropped out of sight
last night's forecast gave 38mm of rain for Thursday
.... this morning's gave 4mm ...... HTF can they vary so wildly in a mere 12 hrs .... will probably be either a heat wave or 6" of snow by then

so ..... after three coats of Brunswick, thought I'd bang it together in readiness for being 'entered into service' ....
went together sweet as ...
dug out one of me spreader bars later in the day to make sure it still tele-ed .. it did
all ready to relocate later in the week .... just waiting on some eyebolts arrival .... didn't have enough in stock for the four corners and they'll be staying on there ... should be here tomorrow
then turned my attention to a little fiddly job, that'd been delayed by a lack of 202 angle to finish off with
cut and drilled it all yesterday and got 'em together this morning .... the fiddly stuff takes as long as the chunky stuff .. just easier to handle
all sized and 'fitted' ..... time for the tish ....
... and forgot a pic .. too busy getting it on 'fore grub got called
top edge protector/finisher .... and tailgate frame
just need to find a suitable lump of timber to squeeze into the frame and job done ............ apart from the muddies .. which're sat waiting for me to finish off the fixing spacers for 'em ...... job for again , shortly

It’s a type of Lawson’s cypress Graham - some of the cultivars do that.forgot to ask earlier ........ anyone seen a leylandii type tree do this before .... this is the first time I've ever seen this one flower!!!

'sposed to be nice again tomorrow
we did manage to get 5 barrowloads of grass hacked down with the strimmer this morning though, raked up and deposited on the grass heap down the drive, so not a total loss of a day, 'fore we got p*ssed on
two quid each for 4 or ten for 12 quid .... boxful duly arrived

did last year and wasn't flowering then ..... might put a mask on and give it 150psi when it starts, then retreat in the opposite direction .... snot season has started already
.. bloody grass gave me some shite this morning .... grass as such doesn't give me grief usually.... it's all the bloody tree pollen lying in the grass on a first cut ... can mow the grass no issues through the year, but that first one's a killer Footer block 1
