It’s a lump for sure. It’s too big if I’m honest, if I were to do it again I’d do a few things differently, size being one of them. But that’s all part of the learning process.
What size machine was that built for

Tarmac chaps in today just the resin bonding to go and we best find something else to do

Back on site this afternoon. Loadall driver had left me a pile of “good hardcore” so I could make him a road through back gardens so he could set some slabs up. Road made, and refilled in again. Awful horrible sticky sh1t, not the best but will do until it’s time to finish the gardens

Looks like you're definition of road differs from mine, or certainly "good hardcore" does 😁

New job day - services - entrance - parking - sewer connect - and if he can convince me to stay - slab to break up and insulated floors to go in.

And got some screw type fittings for tilt bucket .... can't be worse than the flat face ive been burning through.

Can't fathom how tilt bucket can be so bad on fittings, it's not like a breaker which pulses the oil.

local or off that link i put up a while back ... look tidy enough, but can be buggers to get undone :rolleyes:

The problem with those couplers is keeping them clean when not connected. If you can get genuine Holmbury flat face couplers I find they last many times longer than other makes, especially Chinese rubbish.

dedicated screwon/in covers available for them Kev ... got some inch + ones on the 'Drema
