Never had an issue with injectors, did get a egr at 79k

Van will be 10 months old (ish) and diluting oil. He contacted dealer they booked it in for injectors straight away. Said they are doing loads and replacement injectors are that bad they order 12 in for each van they do to guarantee getting 4 they can use.

That’s bizzare, what HP? I’ve heard of the 180 with injector issues but mine has been spot on, so much so I’ve ordered another.
A good friend has - 4x4 180 and he has been plagued with electrical gremlins and haldex issues

It's a 140 4x4. Been fine apart from this, but apparently they are doing loads of injector changes. Probably ordered a huge batch and trying to pick through and get the good ones out as to just throw away costs too much if you can get supply anyway.

53 week wait on a new Hilux… May have to get one on demo and see if it’s any good, mine was going to get chopped at 10years, will be closer to 12 by time a new one arrives!

I went past there today and thought the same - it’s overflowing with them!
I’m guessing a ship-full landed at the start of the year.
Collecting mine on 3rd March (ordered it end of March last year - it arrived in Jan to be fair).

Considering all dealersships(car/van/plant) are saying they have no stock/supply not one has a empty forecourt or pdi yard! Stock must be coming through no problem! Can’t move around the local jcb yard!

2023 2ndQ for 7m+ telehandlers, smaller ones are 3months ish.. but something tells me give it 6months there will be an abundance of brand new kit looking for homes because of deals cancelled!
So do I sell up some used stuff now in anticipation of this happening……

There’s been no stock of machines anywhere for a long long time - now there is.
Inflation is only going one way.
Expendable income is being squeezed hard.
People who were previously busy are advertising looking for work.
Demand for kit is about to fall off a cliff IMO - prices will readjust to reflect this.
(I am not a financial advisor and have been wrongly predicting this for the last 12 months though!!!).
