Are we discussing the trailers that you dragged them pedrollers round on...always look Kin iffy especially dragged behind a waggon bouncing about always pictured one letting go of its load on the M6...that be surprise meeting a ped roller at 70
Mine came with a trailer though from an earlier era than the roller. Trailer went in skip and i just use ifor plant trailer to carry it.

It's a ball ache carrying bots of wood around so they can drive up the ramp. The terex rollers won't go up an ifor ramp without a few blocks at the base.
Don't know about other makes of roller / trailer.

And they are pretty well secured to those trailers. I would imagine the spinning ring hitch more likely to part company from the trailer than the roller.

The ifor gh1054 has a beavertail ramp which the rollers goes up unaided. You can actually just park them right up against the headboard and fold the handle up leaving just enough room to piggy back the 1.8tonner on too. Aids weigh distribution 🤣

They won't go up the gh146 unaided but if you turn them sideways across the headboard a 3tonner will fit aswell 😝
And a pair of traffic lights if your really ambitious

If you lift a lot with your 3 tonnerit might be worth welding on an eye onto the stick. I use the grapple bracket. Just brings in everything closer to the machine and can gain more lift. Not a problem loading 800kg dumpy bags onto a trailer like this
I too use the grapple shackle trick

You need to take a run up🤣

The safety bar at the front hits the ramp first sending the handle down to crotch height. At which point the roller looses grip as its slightly lifted of the floor so comes to an abrupt halt. At which point the operator carries on forward into the crotch height handle.

I prefer the proper little trailer.

Or a Wacker plate

Always had an old bath mat or some old carpet for steel ramped trailers to get rollers up, we got rid of our bw75/80 got a bw55 instead handy for the odd bit of blacktop we do.
