The thing with masks is, if this all started in china....they wear them as an everyday item there, it didn't help them much

I needed one earlier, I cooked dinner last night and my arse knew about it today. If the windows on the cab hadn't opened up I'm sure I'd of died of my own farts....but that mask would mean I can leave the windows shut....its was a bit chilly with the windows open you see.

I'm no rocket scientist, epidemiologist or psychic but I'm quite certain that this map raises 3 big questions.
1) why is Africa not dead yet
2) if we are so scared of it why haven't we as a world assisted Africa
3) why is Africa never first in the line.....
I'm quite certain the answer to all 3 of these questions is...... Africa has no money.

Also in Africa obesity is not a problem! over 90% of global deaths have occurred in countries where obesity is a problem... everyone seems to ignore that elephant in the room

Masks never worked in the way advertised..... they protect others from your germs. Which if you want to be "proper" is abit kin late..... should be at home isomalating.
There not nessecarly a waste of time.... but when you look at the people wearing them (when not required) you quite quickly gather are the only people doing so are those who are in fear.

masks do two things really well.
- they catch the bulk of a sneeze reducing your spray of snot, saliva, mucus and whatever you are carrying onto the people and surfaces around you.
- reduce your absentminded wiping your mouth and nose with your fingers
That's a really interesting point. Is there and data yet or just an informed guess?
Thinking about it, there must be some convincing data along similar lines from astronauts, sailors, fly-in/fly-out workers etc. that spend long times in small isolated groups with no exposure to things the rest of us are exposed to regularly.
