No point in making law you don’t or can’t enforce.
I object to the idea on the basis of complete stupidity as the vaccinated are now just as clearly able to get and transmit covid

Looks like a have 10 days off. Wife has gone positive on a lateral flow test after not feeling well. Just been down to get her PCR and I am now isolating until the result.

Exactly- particularly if you've already had covid why would you get the booster? It's probably just going to be round after round of it- we're not pin cushions FFS!

It's a mad set up if your double jabbed and person in same house is positive you don't have to isolate, meaning your spreading it all around as vaccine doesn't stop you catching it or spreading it all around,

Boosters will only finish if either covid f's off or they actually develop a VACCINE. I've had 2 jabs (and tbh if I'd waited longer i probably wouldn't have bothered in hindsight though I'm not bothered that I've had them either) but I'm not interested in boosters at all. End of the day if the first 2 jabs don't work for variants and the booster is just another of the early jabs what's the point if the problems now seem to be variants?

My sister and one of her children tested positive- they are all very COVID cautious and have been blindly following the guidelines since the start. However her other 2 children are free to go to school despite coming from a COVID infected household. If that had been me in that house as unvaccinated- technically I wouldn't be allowed to go and work in the middle of nowhere for 10 days- it makes no sense. Her husband is tripple jabbed and walking around the house with a mask! I mean really where does it all end If even the most pro vaccinations can't have confidence in it enough to not have to wear a mask in your own home

And there is the stupidity in the rules.
We will await the test results and stay in the house in the meantime. My 8 year old is now croaky and has a sore throat. We will not be taking her to her education establishment as unlike the rules, we have more sense!
