1/16 scale model Case 580 Super M backhoe loader.

I’m looking to sell this now-discontinued Ertl 1/16 scale model, which is in perfect condition bar a small paint scrape at base of backhoe boom which is not visible when in folded position (was like this from new). This is a large and heavy model with many metal parts, so I would rather model was collected in person instead of posting (live in Ilford, Essex). I no longer have the box.

This is now a rare and very collectible model, but I’m not looking for a silly high price and would like it to find a new home with a plant enthusiast who will enjoy it for years to come. If anyone is interested, please either ring me on 07711267709, or email to Paulwright18@btinternet.com to discuss and make offer.

That is a nice model, a bit on the large side at 1:16 scale, it would sit well with the Joal JCB 3cx contractor that they produced in the large scale a few years back, You should have kept the box though! I have always got a few models here mainly 1:35, 1:50 & 1:40 mainly excavators, Backhoe loaders and tower cranes, I will post a few pics later.

Difficult to suggest a price when you don’t know what something is worth. I’m only looking for a modest sum to move it on, but if this is inappropriate I’ll understand if you wish to delete my posts.

The point is, and its the same one i make everyday when people offer kit to us. You say how much do you want, they said they dont know. So you offer a price. They then say thats not enough. So you ask again how much was they hoping for, often they will say more.

This sort of game is actually bloody annoying, I always always like to know what somebody is after, I might have a rough price in my head but it helps to know, that way we can try and work towards the price rather than sit guessing. I can assure you nobody in our game nobody undervalues anything.

I am sure if I said i would give you £10, you would tell me thats not enough. Thats the sort of thing i mean

how about putting a name/figure to the ''Modest sum'' and either, someone'll tear your arm off [if you're lucky], or ... try to negotiate what they consider to be a ''modest sum'' .... two chances ;) ... or there is a third ..... no one takes any further interest, which'd indicate it's either way too immodest or, no one wants it  ...... which is highly unlikely ... if the price is right :)

The tower crane stands about 3ft tall you can adjust the height by unscrewing the mast sections but I only got it out to take pictures, Zoomlion is a Chinese manufacturer they have'nt made it over to the UK yet I have several tower crane models but they take up space and gather dust if you don't have a cabinet for them.
