Looks à great setup but im only messing about ....I couldn't justify that much coin..... 30k should buy me a decent 1500- 2000k hours hitachi or kx57 then 15k on a tiltrotator.
Should get sorted for iro 45k.
FFS at 73k€ head of finance (ie the missus) would think I'd lost the bloody plot 🤣

The JCB I believe has been updated with a new model - the 60c which I have driven and thought it performed well even though the engine now shares the same block as my 8026! Good availability, my local dealer actually has one in stock at the moment.
The new Kubota -5's look really good in the metal but not driven one yet. No idea on availability but Japan is a long way away.
I don't like Hitachi's - Japan couldn't be far enough away for me when it comes to Hitachi minis - they can stay there!
Don't rule out the CAT 306 next gen. Although not driven one either, the other models in the range I have driven are very good. And cheaper to fit a tilty to as the controls are all electro proportional. But made in China so wear a mask at all times.
Bobcat/ Doosans are behind the curve with design and in cab. Paint falls off and they leak many oils. But 0% finance!!!
Wacker Neuson make a nice looking machine in this size and the beloved 8 ton below group on faceache love them.
Volvo ECR58 has just had an update too and look good. Always liked how Volvo's drive from the other machines in the range I have driven.

Some good choice in this weight range. Do keep us informed on spec comparisons, prices and availability as they come through (y)

🙂

The Hitachi as with all hitachis below 13t has a cramped cab with flip down track pedals rather than full size. But lifts well And is fast and powerful. They feel more comparable to 7.5t machines from other manafactures.
They have a bit of a blind spot on the right hand side that some machines don't have due to fuel tank location.

And avoid the rubber block pads.
Rubber bands are much nicer if you want rubber

Contacted Wacker Neuson today for price/availability on ET65 .... they look a nice machine.

Seen a tidy kub u55 with engcon for sale .... not sure about u55 as opposed to kx57 ?
U55 might be tippy and has considerably less power than kx57 🤔
I cant easily get any seat time in one what's people's thoughts or experiences?
Nowt worse than a noddy digger.

Cheers

If you're gonna have extra weight on the front you want weight at the back imo. Any reason taki 260 isn't on your list? I've had no time on one personally but a few outfits i know of keep buying them again.

Never consider them tbh .... maybe because I don't see them around here 🤷 dont even know where our nearest dealer is, I'm sure they are a decent machine.
Actually saw local cat rep today and he promises me a price on 6t and has one available.. so will be checking a few out before I pull the trigger.
