The JCB I believe has been updated with a new model - the 60c which I have driven and thought it performed well even though the engine now shares the same block as my 8026! Good availability, my local dealer actually has one in stock at the moment.
The new Kubota -5's look really good in the metal but not driven one yet. No idea on availability but Japan is a long way away.
I don't like Hitachi's - Japan couldn't be far enough away for me when it comes to Hitachi minis - they can stay there!
Don't rule out the CAT 306 next gen. Although not driven one either, the other models in the range I have driven are very good. And cheaper to fit a tilty to as the controls are all electro proportional. But made in China so wear a mask at all times.
Bobcat/ Doosans are behind the curve with design and in cab. Paint falls off and they leak many oils. But 0% finance!!!
Wacker Neuson make a nice looking machine in this size and the beloved 8 ton below group on faceache love them.
Volvo ECR58 has just had an update too and look good. Always liked how Volvo's drive from the other machines in the range I have driven.
Some good choice in this weight range. Do keep us informed on spec comparisons, prices and availability as they come through
