Yeah well in that case my e10 is a mini 2t machine!

Pretty much all diggers can handle a bigger bucket than standard in the right ground with a sensible operator. Bucket warehouse do 750s and 900s. Got a 750 for the e27, it’s handy. The e19 handles it, but would be much better with the 750 in the lighter shell so I might splash out on that too.

I'm really impressed with its stability, and it handled the 8026 grader no problem which did surprise me. My "daywork" buckets have arrived now though so I have the choice of production or a more steady pace - for either machine.
I'd do the usual thing of seeing what weight the potential new bucket will be, weigh your existing bucket, add some weight and see how it handles it?

There’s a lot to be said for a lighter bucket for a machine too, depending on the job in hand. My micro 600 with a flat edge gets a lot of use on the E19, digging out front gardens where you have to be delicate in case of services, and it’s great for loading the power barrows with too.

I put a 120kg 4-1 bucket on the cat last week, fully loaded across the tracks and absolutely nothing to worry about, just need to convince myself it was a good purchase now

If you need to grab stuff, you need a grab. You can’t grab anything more than one log with a bucket grab. I can’t see much use in a 4in1 on a mini diggers to be honest but happy to be corrected.

Wouldn’t be without it on my loader, but how it’s used on that is totally different to how you could use it on a digger, plus it’s wider than the machine.

it’s 600 wide and I’ve always fancied one since my mates had one on his 4cx. Mainly got it for tidying up sites like this week I used it for knocking some earth about and then it was handy having the ability to pick up rubbish and a few stumps we’d dig out before grabbing a bit of steel for a make shift grading beam

I’ll get some this week, sorry to hijack your thread Ollie I’ll post them on my own Not sold yet but as always it’ll be another tool in the shed. Can see it being handy when trying to load out in awkward spots and loading over walls which we’ve been playing at lately

In case you cant hear me shouting about how great or terrible my machines are on any given day I thought it best to start a thread on what I get up to when they are working (which is most of the time - honest!)
For those who don't know me, I run a small groundwork firm in Hampshire and due to the nature of this work not affording me the Sunseeker I'd hoped for, I'm currently changing tack somewhat. Who knows where Ill end up but for now it involves machines!
Here's what I've been up to this year.
New build house in Guildford. Had to set out the footings myself as no co-ordinates given on the drawing. Was a Timber frame too so not much tolerance but I remembered how to use a tape measure, finished it a week ahead of schedule, not a bad job really. Hired an 8t machine for a week for reduce dig and footings and the 8026 did the rest.

No its Perspex and it terrible for visibility in sun and rain. But it has been useful at keeping my drier which is why I haven't got round to taking it off yet!

Could you replace the bolts with some of these

Very jealous of your S30 setup Olly. If I could go back in time all of my buckets would be that, but alas, I'm too far gone now! Must be at least three dozen buckets and attachments.

I am really happy with how its worked out. Slightly more cost to do initially but most of those buckets will last me for a lifetime and there's plenty of money saved by sharing attachments between the two machines. And as you said in another post, sometimes its handy to have a smaller bucket on a larger machine and visa versa. I think I could probably get away with running the DB01 profile buckets on a 1t micro too, weight wont be an issue and the Scandinavians seem to get away with it so should work here too.

Yes that would probably do the trick. Its occasionally useful and has already saved me from getting a face full of dirt when ripping stumps. But other times you really wish it wasn't on there, the glare is terrible in the sun!

All my buckets are actually the same pin spacings, but it's not S30!
