Akermann parts

Anybody know of parts lying about for old akermann 20tonner,was bought to go on crusher bucket but main boom ram leaking badly, not worth repairing so looking for a decent second hand one. Thanks

Why’s it not worth repairing new rod and seal kit from a hydraulic shop wouldn’t be that expensive.

Rod is damaged, end on it is home made, bottom of ram had loads of welding done to it, not a healthy looking ram, you may know machine as came from the central belt somewhere was sold by a cameron Donald

not what you'd call a major job ..... new rod end ...... grind out and reweld the cylinder .... seal set .... certainly not a right off cost

No hasn't found one yet, he has tried a few places but no luck, the rod is damaged as well as the end, bottom end is full of bad welds, also a crack where check valve flange is on ram,
