Personal opinion..... grabs should not be lifting pallets or dumpy bags.....
Dumpy bags are fine if they are not lazy and use the hooks on the grab
Travis are buggered as they don't have hook loops on there bags 🤣

That's the issue though.

I refused a load of Travis earlier in the year due to there thick as f**k dumpy bags...... customer was perplexed till I pointed out once they where off the lorry we couldn't move them safely.

Tatty products saving pence on a dumpy bag and probably losing more sales than you'd think because of it.

absolutely .. pallets are not designed to be crushed and dumpies without straps're nowt more than flexible buckets ... squeezing them will only lead to one thing  .... technically they're one lift usage, so once lifted by the straps at the yard should not be lifted again unless sat on a pallet and forked - or should be forked onto the truck .... would be an interesting test case if someone got hurt or they caused serious damage warranting a case

Travis released some statement saying it's somehow a h&s policy as to why they ditched the loops although can't remember why and it didn't really make sense.
And the type of pallet he's lifting should be alright, they have solid bits of wood end to end so aren't to bad it's when they try to pickup the pallets with little blocks in each corner that it usually goes wrong.

Sad part he`s probably lost his job, because they posted that footage :(
Anyone know travis`s official line for unloading pallets?

National shortage of lorry driver's, if they sack him realistically it's not a bad time at least he'll have work by the end of the week

Got the unit unhitched fortunately...

Fannying around Abit though they didn't seem very enthusiastic
Pull the and air line and out of there
Tbh if carrying flammable goods I think extra long Suzie's and the couplers moved closer to the ground would be better
So you can get the trailer off quicker sod the jack legs a new set of rear lights is cheaper than a new unit
