I forget exactly what they were but I think
Avant 730 was £27k+
Ditch witch sk1550 £36k+
Cormidi cmf 1500 £32k+
You recon 20 hp will be enough? If I got one I would want the ability to run a flail if needed. They look a bit feeble on YouTube.
Also I was told the max quoted lifting power was at the attachment plate hence I was looking at the Avant 700 range.
I've no direct experience as you can't hire them over here but I needed one to shift a stump the other day.

Did they give rated lifting capacity as in all the way up apposed to tipping capacity?
I've seen some say Max tipping is x kg and lifting capacity is 50% of x kg

It'll depend on how travel affects aux flow like with anything.

If you want to use a flail well, ideally you need a nice 80L tank - Avant 755.
Apparently the multi ones have piston pumps for the wheels and gear pumps for the aux. So the piston pumps will be drawing a tiny amount of hp as you creep along, but the gear pump can still deliver 50l/min for the flail.

Now that sounds nice, was pondering it last weekend Doing my neck in trying to keep an eye on the 5ft behind Kubota , thought how nice it be to have it out front .

If you just want to see what you are doing better something like this may be a cheaper option and you then still have a tractor for tractoring obviously no good for lifting stuff but superior for flailing

Don't know what size ur kub is but I'm assuming the flail will be pto driven. It'll likely be far superior to to hyd flail on a loader so you may be disappointed

The one I posted above at 10k albeit sold now would seem better value for money than an avant if it's to spend it's life on a flail
And they would go places an avant wouldn't dream of.
There was a bloke on arbtalk that had a loader fitted to one which obviously won't touch an avant for lift power but then had three point link forklift mast on it as well
So could use the loader for speed
Swing the seat round and use it as a forklift to pick up over a tonne

But it's surprisingly good for its size. New one so full of interlocks tho😤
Like everything there's some serious over priced crap out there.
