on line auction local to me 80 off 150 x 25 gravel boards ........ got a job for them and currently at stupid, for nothing money .... 15% premium and 20% vat on top and have to collect 30 miles away .... reckon about 300+kgs .. max ... look to be treated ... just need an idea of what 'tops' would be to make 'em worth bothering??

Last time i bought any 6x1 rough sawn (pre covid) i think were 98p a metre.
When you say treated it'll be like all timber now which i think is treated with water

Would you push the button at half price on that amount when you can get merchant delivery on full price. 75 quid doesn't seem worth the bother?

Lots of fencing timber been going through our local collective auction in the last year, some of it seconds, some of it fukced, but some of it very good. It’s all been making stupid money since this shitstorm took hold of the world! Much of it making way more than retail money, bloody crazy!

just ordered 8 grands worth of timber and osb,on the 1st of july the same order will be 12500,ordering 7 grands worth of insulation for july delivery ,goes up 1st of august by 30%

taking into consideration that 2x1baten is close to a pound a meter, looks to be 75 in the pile ,at the merchants they would be a fiver each ,so 375+vat at merchants

s' a local auction house ... tits up maintenance co. ..... all sorts there, plus a load of new tat slung in for numbers ... current bid on the boards is 11 quid .... have had a few bits 'n bobs off 'em over the years .... including an Iron Fairy Onyx
for really silly money that is an unbelievable price .... was thinking of extending the trellis fence -- 19 x 38 batten - sod that

Graded roofing batten not quite the same as 6 rips of this.
The internet has been great for sellers, not so much for buyers. I still remember buying the local paper to look through properties and I'm only in my 30s. Bought my first plot from paper advert.
