I'd like them to drop the price. Or chuck in an double acting aux to sweeten the deal! Can't see it happening right now. Demand is too high.
Bobcat say November for an e10, Kubota u10-5 late August, maybe. JCB wouldn't give me a straight answer. Takeuchi guy pretty much laughed at me and said next year.
One of the sales reps thinks a lot of it has to do with bounce back loans.

I was gonna mention that if minimal size is king then it's bobcat/doosan. But if the size of the jcb is ok you may as well look at the Takeuchi. Should be 2 to 2.5k less and servos. Double acting as standard (and don't have to pay extra for demo pack if you're gonna be pecking).

It's pretty ridiculous when you compare the price of 8010 to the 18z. Makes getting a micro look like a poor choice

Jcb 8010 is 10mm narrower than e10.
The reason bobcat do a demo pack is because the oil used to get that hot and the plastic tanks used to melt.

You need to weigh up what you need, you probably did that before you asked on here. Buy to suit your own situation.
Always remember worst case, you can do a bigger job slowly with a small machine but you can't do a small job if the machine doesn't fit.

No it's ridiculous tbh. But all these covid loans plus 130% tax relief for ltd companies mean and shortage of supply make it easy for manufacturers to ask whatever they like. " JCB 8008 Micro digger. Its a 2018 model with only 603 hrs on the clock. This is a great little digger that has done very little work. It starts and runs really well. The tracks are 90% good and all of the running gear is good. It has expandable tracks, is piped for a breaker and has 180o offset boom.
It has a work light, horn and fold down ROPS. It is in its original condition and ready to go to work. The only downsides are:
I only have one bucket for it and the blade extensions are missing. Apart from that its good to go. The machine is at our yard in Cross Hands, South Wales

A few years ago dec 2018, i remember buying 2012s 8008s from euros. We had a quiet december but the auction was on and they were cheap as at the end of the day 7pm. I cant remmeber exacts but 4.5k sort of job. I bought them back and stuck £500 a piece on for some christmas cheer and they sold very quick but that was the plan. In todays world that would be 7 k plus and we are 3 years up the road
