I need to get a 750, the 600's I have are not enough in lighter soils really.
If I was starting from scratch I'd definately take the chance to go S-type. I always feel bad every time I buy a new bucket, but with more than thirty buckets and attachments it's a lot of work to change, plus the cost of three new hitches, two hydraulic.
If you are staying standard, then the ProLock is the best manual hitch money can buy for a small machine IMHO. I'd have a look around for a decent s/h bucket set, and then get them to make the hitch to suit. All my buckets for three machines from 1.2 to 2.7t are Komatsu PC14 size as it's what I bought a set with for my old Schaeff.
Plus if things go well you may end up moving the machine on sooner than you think, so it can go with the most worn bucket and you add different sizes to your collection when you spec teh three new buckets with a new machine and mix/match hitch. That's what I've always done.
