You need to talk to @Gunners about Fame....
As my supplier told me those ringing round for the cheapest red will most likely end up with poor quality imported fuel. He resisted fame content for as long as poss but i get additive in mine and have had zero issues. The government won't care as they have already had the full tax on it upfront so they are technically better off if more is pinched over the red version

I was putting a water supply in for a farmer a few year back and at bait time he would ring up to order fuel. He didn't use his usual supplier as when he rang round someone else was peanuts per litre less. I worked out on the quantity he ordered it saved him about £1.50but if it was in every litre it wouldn't be a choice for Ebenezer Scrooge or Joe Skinflint

All very well saying that, but most of us can still get hold of the red I'd think. It's if they catch you on site- and it then becomes the same issue we have with tractors and dump trailers hauling illegally.
