Bio grade Lubes seem to have big differences in prices from what I've seen so far, we haven't done a lot yet on the bio side but they do seem to be gaining in popularity
mine's been on Fuchs Bio, from new, so it stays that way  even with the cost of a barrel, it's easier (and safer) than going over to mineral, although I have no need of the bio facility, I'd rather pay the premium.

Does Fuchs do these style cartridges to suit rammer hammers auto lube?

There rather costly from the dealer, we go through one cartridge in about 7/8 hours work with the hammers.

I have spoken with Lee and he seems to think those cartridges are a slightly different thread to the Fuchs ones even those its the same grease etc unless someone makes an adaptor for them, you could always send us an empty one to double check if you like.

Yes they do have a different thread, they’ve done it deliberately so you need to buy from them. We also have atlas copco hammers and they have the standard 500g screw on cartridges. I will take some more photos and send you them next time I’m in the yard.

Okay great, If only someone had a 3D printer to make an adaptor 🤔

Agreed, would be interesting to see the cost difference between the two but I would imagine the metal version would last a lot longer.

Is there such a thing as biodegradable grease? When I wash my digger the grease goes everywhere.

There is yes, not very often we get asked for it though as many people don't realise it exists, sometimes though the quality or type of grease can cause it to washout more than others, for instance Fuchs Renolit PEP 2 (The Green Grease) is very tacky and is designed to withstand washout more than the normal Complex Greases etc
