He’s got some revs on! Real low ground pressure set-up - is that in Holland?
both trailers were half full leaving ..... can't imagine the cost of that set up against a couple of ADTs

not a vid 'per se' but a pic worthy of a look anyway ....... this really is engineering on a mammoth scale

Worth a look from your comfy chair by the fire..👌 Alec Steele's mate.
impressive display of engineering, but a pretty pointless piece of gear and God only knows what that'd cost to produce .... plus why use that awful jack when a nice DA cylinder and foot pump'd looked so much better ...... lovely bit of work, but given the facilities and the obvious lack of need to keep 'customers' happy he obviously enjoys spending his time playing :cool:

He’s well worth a ‘wider’ watch - he’s a great fabricator. I’d imagine he makes plenty of money through YouTube (this vid has been watched 4.6 million times in a month!..) so knocking out these ‘showcase’ fabrications would ultimately be a very profitable exercise.
Comes across as a decent bloke too. He also makes and sells engineering squares that are also clamps, and other really nice fabrication tools he has designed. I’d imagine they aren’t cheap and sell very well to his loaded Yankee hobbyist followers (I’d happily be a couple of million dollars behind him anyway!).

Interestingly he sells those mega squares in Europe I had a look as fancied a pair...not cheap. But look handy.

been about a while but still worth a watch .... balls of steel .... . sorry to non FB users ... can't make it link

ON EDIT
well that worked better than i thought it would
Worth watching again.
What I don’t understand is as he is on the winch why does he faff about letting himself down a bit at a time with the extender dig? Just which out gently under control and steer.
I’d give it a go no problem.

@Lancs Lad , for me they were really helpful. There is nothing better than a large welding table but as an occasional welder I can’t justify to buy one.

I bought them when I needed to build a workbench. Keep in mind that I have never had any training in welding and everything is self learned.

The top is made up from 50x175mm beams, topped with 18mm MDF. The mdf is not ideal because it soaks up most fluids. Because the main layer is beams I needed something that gave me a nice smooth surface, hence the mdf. It is also cheap and very easy to replace if required.

I wanted something strong enough to take a gearbox or part of an engine block. Probably a bit over engineered but it works very well.

The drill stand next to it is also homemade. Unfortunately I forgot to take photo’s after this one.

In industrial work shops, didn't they use end grain timber blocks for the flooring.
