Yeah but then I'd need the rollers to be doing the grab rotate and open/close whilst I'm tracking too. If you need to track whilst moving I'd always use my feet if I could.

Move pedals one to each side of cab floor on an angle that's comfy for you when sitting, that way not as cramped and easy to do as long as it's individual valves

Ok its nice to have movement on the sticks to save taking hands off but ££££

Regarding DDA, manufacturers should be required by law to make them ready. No reason as all that any function could be on either stick decided on by the user. It's just software at the end of the day. If it was someone who worked for me who was worth the long term investment I'd get it done no question.

For someone with no use of their legs, machine operating would be an ideal job to get outside and do just the same as a 'normal' person.

been on hear a while now but first post do any of you lads know of a cab with more space between pedals and seat, looking for 2.8 to 6 ton size ,i have bad ankles cant bend them up far, ok tracking forward but about impossible reverse ,have tried volvo/neuson/kubota ?

thanks for all your replies to this just a bit of update on my situation a joiner pal said pot blocks on pedals um! so i said go ahead he has made two so they are in same level as cab floor flat its worked smashing as i dont have to bend my feet up now im in heaven now the simple things eh!

neat idea ……. so basically your feet are flat on top of the blocks, instead of an ankle breaking toes up at 45 deg.s

yes thats it he made me like two wood wedges i bolted them through the pedals as mine are one piece not the fold-up ones, i just lifted seat a little to compensate sorry im not very tech savvy to take a picture on hear , but it has made things so much easier

thats spot on . dont know why i didnt think of it myself me dad used to do it years ago on some tractors and other vehicles when he could not reach the go-go pedal but he was a right short arse . ps my mate shaped it well even saw him with sandpaper
