Sadly if I ever do use machine mart I do so in the knowledge its 90 % chinesium crap ....must be old fellas in garages repairing Allegro's that keep em going I reckon.
Last time I was in a machine mart was two years ago when I had a couple hours spare in Hull. Bought some gorilla bars and an extremely long bit set for those tricky jobs. Didn't spend alot but as ever you pay your money you takes your choice. And yes the gorilla bar broke the tip off within weeks but still use it. 😆

I’ve got a GB150, picked it up off Amazon last year or early this year I’m a sale. Fantastic piece of kit, used it a couple of times.

only thing is due to the power output the clips are slightly larger than the GB70 so recently I couldn’t get the clips with it on cleanly to make it work on a car battery as space was tight in the bonnet. Im waiting for GB70 to be reduced. Hopefully Black Friday deal to be had soon!
These just been reduced on Amazon..

i got one similar to this, was VERY sceptical when I bought it as its a bit smaller than a paperback book but it jumped my 3L daily when some numpty left the lights on all night...

Massive power output just not for very long.

My gb70 has been 💩 lately, charge doesn't seem to hold too well and the power has been way off the mark, to the point where it was struggling to turn over a hatz diesel engine on a ped roller with full charge showing on the noco.
It's not had a great deal of use and the main use it had had is to start a 600cc yanmar engine

I ended up going for a G 150, just came today seem good although not tried it yet, nothing was flat this morning 😄
Yourll love it! It’s absolutely useless when you don’t need it. But when you have a flat or need a bit of power it’s absolutely brilliant kit!

only thing, every so often give it a charge. 😁 Nothing more frustrating or embarrassing and the battery being flat on it.

We use two PowerVamp NATO 200’s. We’ve had them both for six or seven years. Very good bits of kit, one of them failed after about five years but PowerVamp repaired it with no issues. They get a lot more use than the average jump pack, and for things that they don’t normally get used for, so I can’t complain. Pretty heavy to lug round, but they do a set of wheels for them. I doubt whether any start pack would last long running a winch, LL.

The joys of buying online...I waited ages for mine to drop then snaffled it when they did. Handiest thing so small means it's handy to chuck in your bag with other tools.

So had my replacement noco gb150 in February this year and needed to use it today to jump start a 3t dumper with all of 1.7l of 3 cylinder diesel. Wouldn't even engage the starter

Was it fully charged? I’ve never had an issue with my GB150. It’s never missed a beat. Even started stuff I thought it wouldn’t.

Literally charged it last week, top green bar on when cycling through when it's hooked up and when it's not hooked up to a battery and switched on the green bar is on

sounds faulty, same as above mines been surprisingly good. but i do reckon the dedicated charger is worth it even though its 40 quid and should be included..😒
