Hi Folks..Not one for putting out for help due to overwhelming stubbornness I'm feeling a bit out of my comfort zone here and hoping for genuine help

you'll struggle to fit a turret in there anywhere .... My Ajax is as strategically placed as I can get it in the door way of one of my 40 footers and doesn't leave a great deal of room for getting in/out .. takes about 65% of the width of the doorway

Looks a nice little set up you have there your right though about space but fortunately I have space at the front just need to erect a cabin for it.

Yeah that's my guess, but not sure if engine alternator output would prevent Load relay energising. I suppose it could do though? My bets it has been disconnected when alternator replaced by a more modern unit with a built in regulator? All speculation without seeing it all.

Thanks jd6820 it's greatly appreciated for your input but your knowledge far surpassed mine on electrics ,I mentioned to V8DRUID that I've had 2 old skool genny heads take a look yesterday and they weren't impressed with my purchase as everyone keeps telling me that MoD are way to complicated for their on good but hopefully they'll get back to me tomorrow with an ex Army mate with a fresh look.
I'll update with anything new

cheers ... been working towards a shed erection for several years, as all here will take the piss about without much tempting
there's always summat else demanding attentions ... usually SWMBO led ...... life would be so much easier (and drier) with a 40' x 45' roof to hide under .... and lockable doors

Hi,
The latest update is that I've shipped the genny back up to the supplier this Wednesday and told them it's not fit for purpose, I'm hoping that they'll be genuine and give me my refund ..if not then I'm in for the long haul..
