Mts used to be bobcat dealer. They had it took off them. My dealings with mts wasnt great at all.
Just under 900hrs so for age not many i guess. Not an every day machine for me often just goes to do tight corners etc. Plan on keeping it 10 year minimum unless i get a good trade in offer.Sounds good, how many hours she on?
I think one of the biggest thing people like about the older models is they are more simple less electrics etc to go wrong as they get older. Tbh the newer ones don't have that much more it'll just be more difficult to bypass if they go wrong when they get older.Anyone I seem to speak to say that they like the older style Takeuchi better than the newer models, a fuel gauge wont bother me to be honest as I grease and fuel the machine every morning when in use.
I see a lot of bobcat on their website, I first enquired to get a quote for a bobcat E20 but they got back to say that they no longer deal for bobcat and its now yanmar, best price they gave me for a yanmar sv18 was £19750, I got a price of £18000 from elsewhere for the exact same machine.Mts used to be bobcat dealer. In Australia they say that 98% of Land Rovers are still on the road... the other 2% made it homeOr alternatively (unlike landrover) why change a winning formula.
Owen Mays has a 225.... but there is a reason the 216 got chopped for itI'm not a fan of any of the 200 series, rightly or wrongly. The 225 is in my view a Ifwhat machine and for the price you could grab a 016 and a 125 and have two proper machines.
Bobcat E17 is a write off from the start, the E19's are alright but again the E16's where the f****ng bollocks.... I don't know why but the previous generation Bobcats and Takeuchi's seemed better.... less pretty and refined but far better machines!
On the flipside, the JCB 1.9t offering is well worth a look! They dig well and seem to stand the test of time!
P.S Anyone want a TB216!? Very tidy as it stays in the shed most of the time!
Fantastic, I have around ten tons for you here!£125 a ton I'm paying ATM.
you might have to deliver it for that RubenFantastic, I have around ten tons for you here!
Something's wrong with yours....I’m a bit late to the party with this thread- but I agree with this entirely. I have a TB216 and it’s junk. Sloppy slew, snappy (and not in a good way) gutless lifting capacity and breakout, I really don’t have a good thing to say about it. I have a TB125 too which is just about the complete opposite of the above- a beast of a machine IMO- thought the TB016 I had was quite good too but that TB216 has rather put me off Takeuchi for the time being- going to try Yanmar next. No they are not the same.Anyone know if the TB216 and TB219 share the same hitch size? I have a feeling they do but not 100% sure…
Yes I believe they are.Anyone know if the TB216 and TB219 share the same hitch size? I have a feeling they do but not 100% sure…
I think they should be but i can't be 100%. I do know that breaker off utilities gangs 216 wouldn't fit into quick hitch on my 219 by a couple of mm on the width but that could have been a hitch/bucket manufacturer difference.Anyone know if the TB216 and TB219 share the same hitch size? I have a feeling they do but not 100% sure…
Beat me to it.The TB216 is 132mm center's and 105mm dipper width. The TB219 is 161mm center's and 122mm Dipper width.
That said, some dealers may fit hitches which pipe up the most common size.
