Around 40K from memory.Have to confess I'm fascinated by this job...looks proper thing like with control cupboards etc..wtf is that costing him?![]()
Interesting, like out of the box approach.Around 40K from memory.
BUT it's the key to making the site workable. Would of cost over that in hire for me to kick around and throw gear up the hill. I think a scaff platform and vertical hoist was around the 60k mark for six months hire.
Wise words Rory - you sound like an experience old boyI'd be skipping the f**k out of the gatePersonally if your good and Self Employed basic Labour rate needs to be a minimum of £20/hr.... I won't say what I go out at as it's a public forum and liable to put noses out of joint. But I Make more as a seat filler than I do with a 1t machine. It serves two purposes, 1) Does'nt rile me to be sat in someone elses machine, and 2) people only have me when they want/need me/the emotional support I bring
Your time is too precious to be unhappy IMHO..... whilst I appreciate not everyone has the financial stability to tell people where to go, you won't change that by working for jelly beans and being unhappy.
It's the real mckoy!! Bet it's 10 times as efficient as anything network rail has ever done. Can't see any orange hivis? Wheres the lookout?
How is it powered? Winch?
Portfolio? is that one of those chocolate coated cream buns? This is cool as f**k. Sorry not sorry for swearing, it just is. A project for the portfolio for sure.
Very neat, but I would have been tempted to use concrete sleepers.Bridge anyone?
I think the ‘dearest’ subbie I have is my electrician he’s £200/day, loads more annual tests than us digger ops have and his kit that is always being calibrated.. I have no idea what I’d charge for a day rate anymore , haven’t done it in a long time! Probably wouldn’t be enough£190/200 a day,off by half three on digger, wouldn't thank you for grief sorting jobs, payment out
