It amazes me how people never get back to you.was promised a hitachi 1.5 ton digger on demo 7/8 years ago.never heard another word so bought another volvo.then 4 years ago I talked to rep at a show about a 2.5 ton hitachi and lady said she would get a demo machine to me.never heard another word so bought another volvo.will probably change curent volvo soon and would like to try a kubota but don’t know if that will happen.i asked for tractor demo 2 years ago in Oct at dealer open evening.rep said I’d get one out in a couple of days.never heard another word on that either,on a £100k tractor.recently asked for price on a drill.im a farmer too.never heard from rep till I had a moan on another forum and 6 weeks later rep sent me a really abusive txt saying my phone never worked,or both landlines, txt, email and he was not allowed to call at farm and could not post quote.what a wanker he was.as for finnings I had a 432e from them new a few years back and it was plagued with problems and could never grade with it either.i was treated appallingly and would never buy anything cat.their so called experts told me I could not operate a backhoe despite been running them for30 plus years .they eventually bought the machine back and made me wait months for my money.a right load of *****.and dealers who don’t tell importers of problems.had a part split on my volvo and dealer wanted over £200 for new part.after seeing on Facebook about another chap who had slew problems on volvos I added my problem.volvo contacted me within minutes and replaced part free of charge after 3 years saying they never heard of issue before and dealers never tell them either.maybe I’m just unlucky but no one gives a s**t these days

I'm glad it is not just me. It seems it is often hard to spend your money. I guess they only want the easiest possible sales and don't care about the long term health of the business as they will have moved on.

.... This week on Doosan are dogsh......... 😂
Would never have another one.
Horn now stopped working at 299 hours and I'mm currently awaiting them to try and reshim the kingpost for the third time as you can feel knocks through the machine as the unit bounces up and down

My family has dealt with finning for over 30 years and the Service has slowly declined for the past 10 years, a lot of it has been caused by the down turn in the mining industry that was where finning made the most of there money. Another reason is bring in people who aren’t plant men/woman,

Just called Bobcat about the same on mine. Still the best true micro out there IMHO tho.
Should only need a couple of shims- guess small pins wear quick.

I've never met a salesman who actually knew how to drive a digger.

We had one in Cornwall, Luke lovely chap knew exactly what you wanted when you enquired about a new machine so you want the 2ft bladed before it arrives etc since hes left there on sales rep number 4

It's already been spaced once and then had both king pins, boom pin and boom ram pin replaced.
There isn't any shims in it as standard and it can be levered up a good 5+mm
Took them two attempts to fix hydraulic pump leak, bonnet catch tool a few attempts, slow lock still catches at certain angles but not enough to drop it over.
Wish I had gone for the takeuchi but it's wider, not zero tail and still on 25mm bucket pins

And no where near as comfy to sit on all day.
