Would have thought would be similar as the 210r has servo controls. My old tb108 had more power than the bobcat/doosan
I would agree tb108 aren't the most comfortable as but I can't say the 210r isn't. I don't have a 210r myself but have used one and couldn't complain about comfort.

No they are 2 totally different things to sit on....as i found out today.

The takuchi seat is likable to a chruch pew for hardness and the servo pods dont push out like on the bobcat so they rub on your legs all day and youve no room round the centre pod to put your legs closer to stop it...how a larger person can sit on them all day i dont know as im only little.

From an operator comfort view the bobcat wins hands down.

It's already been spaced once and then had both king pins, boom pin and boom ram pin replaced.
There isn't any shims in it as standard and it can be levered up a good 5+mm
Took them two attempts to fix hydraulic pump leak, bonnet catch tool a few attempts, slow lock still catches at certain angles but not enough to drop it over.
Wish I had gone for the takeuchi but it's wider, not zero tail and still on 25mm bucket pins
Also forgot, it decided to drop a lower track roller 3 weeks ago.

Anyone got the bits on LinkedIn ?

See I don't really care if my salesman can drive a machine or not. All I want is a straight talking, simple to deal with person who will answer the phone 5 years later when I might be in the market for a new machine. Or indeed if I've got a problem with the current one. And I get that kind of service from JCB. You guys are quick to slag off the brand but in fairness, they have been quietly working hard to improve and even in furlough, I had a response back from the saleman who sold me one machine 5 years ago. Still remembers the deal, still keen to price new kit for me.
He didn't win the dumper sale but that wasn't due to lack of service - they just didn't do what I wanted. And I found the guy at Lister Wilder also very accommodating and straightforward to deal with. And due to that I will be considering a Kubota in the future. Always liked their machines anyway. (But they have got their work cut out against the 8026's performance)
Bit worried by you guys with the Bobcats having issues. Especially the forums Bobcat rep! No machines are perfect but there's no point designing the best machine in its class but executing it badly. Thats where JCB were going wrong several years ago - plenty of performance but in an undesirable package and poor quality.
Things are moving quickly in the mini market, its the big area of growth and all the manufacturers are keen to get their share. I wouldn't rule out any manufacturer now, its come down to service and backup rather than the machine itself.

I'll agree to an extent with that one but at the end of the day how can you expect a salesman to have had the time to gain 5 years experience of operating everything they are selling. Coupled to that they are all trying to sell you the 'best' machine on the market and unfortunately they can't all be selling said machine.

No I get that you can't learn everything... it's more the "attitude" doesn't take long to familiarise yourself with stuff and play about?

The salesmen/women don’t need to be expert drivers or be able to drive the kit at all really. But an interest in it woukd be nice, and know the effing specifications! And also know what’s on the options list! It’s not hard, is it? After all, it’s their job?

So this is Finning response just like the email I got from them in March no reason why they decided to withdraw everything from us. So yet again they think that big f... small well not in this case this just shows that they have no concrete reason why to pull the plug on Messiah. Finning credibility is shot to bits 99% of people that have replied to my posts agree with me about there poor service. There is no reason why they have pulled the plug and if there is then I am inviting Finning to respond on here. Don’t hide in the shadows come out and explain what did Messiah do wrong what can you email us to show us what we done. Because these questions have already been emailed to you I’m March and you have all refused to answer me. So I will ask again tell me why. "

Have always found JCB reps to be responsive- sadly they have never been able to supply what I wanted BUT were quick to say that they would pass feedback back to the factory (lack of roller twin aux options on 1.9 and 2.8t, lack of servos on micro).

Was chatting with a plant mate the other day. We've both come to the conclusion that nobody makes a perfect machine, it's pot bloody luck whether your dealer/backup is any good or not so until you find one that is you might as well buy upon price/spec. Spec has been the hard thing finding a canopy 1.9t with twin aux rollers- only three brands would offer it and one brand was 4k cheaper than the rest and offered free finance for another 3k saving.

I'm not blind, I'll slag the Bobcat dealer off for not answering the phone or replying to emails, especially when in the process of buying a new machine! One mechanic in particular is on the ball, but I don't reckon he'll stick around, which is typical of so many in that game- the good salesmen and mechanics aren't appreciated and the idiots at the top don't care. Same with the dealer my Hyundai came from- the first salesman was top notch, but moved on within a year.
