Today on #OpTramline we stopped this vehicle on the A1m near Wetherby. The driver said he was going to Dover to collect a replacement truck. Thanks to a prohibition issued by @DVSAEnforcement his journey stopped immediately and he received fines of £900.

that’s tame enough, when I was in Dubai 1 head banger drove out the gate like this having rolled the trailer. And had another afghan bloke set off with no windscreen or mirrors after rolling the trailer and tractor unit on a 150km journey back to his workshop. Every time the answer was no problem boss police already give fine another no coming

Not too many years ago,maybe 17/18 I can remember an 8 wheeler turning up on site that had had the front window dislodged by a loading shovel and to hold it in the driver had wedged wood into the hand holds at bottom of screen and up front of window.

nope .. ambient in a 50t press across blocks ... long curved deflection .... had barely applied any tonnage .... have done loads very successfully ... the odd one'll go bang .. in some order ....... had a great earner straightening directional drill tubes - 50mm dia. x 4ft sections ... once I'd got me eye in after half a dozen i could knock 'em out in some order .... I could spend all day on 'em at a fiver each
.... 30 an hour no sweat ... easy money
