Haha, came up alongside a monster fendt the other day with big buck take on rear 3pl. Sat on that was a huge toolbox chained on with one chain. Welded to rear of toolbox was a hitch...upon which was large silage trailer being dragged....and yes no lines visible.🤦🤦🧐

I don't understand! He only had one digger on...... surely one chain is enough then?

Seriously though, He was just being a cop magnet going out like that!!

Got away lightly I would say tandem axle trailer would be overloaded with that on.

Got to be fairly close to the weight limit, will that trailer weigh more than 3.6t?

should've been weigh-bridged and done on axle/hitch loadings, GTW, minimum ... no way is that legal ... then start on his documentation / insurances / fuel / etc.
he got off more than light

That digger and trailer is bugger-all weight-wise in comparison to what the farmers round here drag around day-to-day. I doubt there’s a modern loaded tractor on the road that is running legally in that respect.
How do you lot know he’s not doing agricultural work by the way? Fuel/paperwork etc would all potentially be fine if so. (I’m playing devil’s advocate here!). And number plates are for losers!!!

To be entirely honest that is probably one of the best tractor setups that has been posted up with on here (of the dodgy ones )

Do really only weigh 3 tonnes empty??
Don’t forget the implied load on the tractor - it can be upto 3 tonnes I think? I’ve got a similar twin axle low-loader trailer that is apparently 19 tonne capacity - part of the 19 tonnes includes the hitch loading. I’ll take a pic of the plate later if I remember.

I think weight wise hes ok... just abbit stupid going out with no chains.... just draws attention.
you're kidding Aiden :ROFLMAO:.... that hitch has 50% of the load .... look at the back tyres on the traccy .. the way that's positioned is totally overloading the imposed load on the hitch and draw-bar ........ as said earlier, if he'd been a truck he'd have been GV9-ed - unsafe load ticket and his nuts hung out to dry

Yeah, 2x 8 tonne axles and 3 tonnes on the tractor.

He’d be fine if he tracked back and let the boom stick out further!!! And maybe used some more of his chains!
